TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) — Multiple law enforcement agencies are examining a wave of threatening phone calls made to schools, according to an official statement from the Tallahassee Police Department.

Authorities reported that the calls mentioned bomb threats and possible shootings; however, investigators have concluded that there is no credible or active danger linked to them. The Tallahassee Police Department is working alongside the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and the Tallahassee State College Police Department on the case.

Officials described the situation as a series of alarming calls directed at several schools across the Tallahassee and Leon County area. A spokesperson for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office noted that the calls were likely generated using artificial intelligence.

“At this time, there is no evidence of an immediate threat to students, staff, or the wider community,” the statement emphasized. Law enforcement agencies remain in constant communication with the affected schools and their security teams, offering continued guidance and support. For students balancing stress from incidents like this alongside academics, access to reliable resources such as essay help can also be important.
