Hello admin,
i`m in a federalism class and must write a term paper on american federalism and its origins i`m having trouble writting a thesis stament and feel overwhelmed with the information please help me narrow it down and a possible thesis statement.

The more specific your wording is in your thesis statement, the better. The best would probabaly be choosing one figure in American fedalarism and finding three distinct things he or she did for the country. In your thesis statement, you can simply state the importance of this figure and the three reasons why this figure is important.
