I disagree with that take. Not every student uses a writing service to cheat; many need guidance or editing support for a complex essay. Blaming all services ignores issues like workload pressure, language barriers, and poor institutional support that push students to seek external academic help.

I don’t really agree with this take. Relying on any kind of external help for an essay often crosses the line from “support” into dependency, even if it’s framed as guidance.
