BibGuru’s Citation Convenience — 41/50 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In our opinion, BibMe excels in citation convenience, offering both manual and automatic data retrieval options. Its search functionality is robust, allowing users to find sources using URLs, DOIs, ISBNs, author names, or titles. The platform provides a comprehensive set of citation editing options, including quick style changes, in-text citation copying, bibliography entry creation, sharing, and downloading of cited works. It also alerts users if any information is missing from their citations. BibMe’s ability to cite various scales, from entire books to specific chapters or sections, adds to its versatility.

BibGuru’s Value for Money — 15/25 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
BibMe provides a free citation generator option with unlimited citations in many styles, along with limited suggestions for improving sentence structure, punctuation, writing style, and grammar. However, the free version includes ads and does not offer plagiarism checking. For those seeking more comprehensive features, we would recommend the paid plan is priced at $9.95 a month and includes everything unlimited. With a score of 22 out of 25 in this category, we believe BibMe offers good value for its price, especially considering the range of citation styles and sources it supports.
Citing is integral to every academic assignment and your legit, reliable shield against plagiarism accusations. However, each academic style guide has its requirements (and there is almost always a difference between basic and in-text citing, quoting a song title, album, poem, etc.), so it’s better to check the complete Citations Guide to be aware of all exceptions.
BibGuru’s Overall Experience — 15/25 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The overall experience with BibMe is positive, with a score of 20 out of 25. Registration is not required, and there is a 3-day trial period available. The platform supports integration with MS Word and is convenient to use on mobile devices. However, it lacks browser extensions and is heavy on ads, which can be a drawback for some users. The support system includes FAQs, tutorials, and a contact form, although live chat is not available.
Conclusion
Our team has determined that BibMe is a reliable and comprehensive citation tool that offers a wide range of features to suit various needs. Its ease of use, extensive citation options, and value for money make it an excellent choice for anyone looking to streamline their citation process. While there are some areas for improvement, such as the presence of ads and the lack of browser extensions, these do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience. From our perspective, BibMe earns a well-deserved A*Help Score of 92, making it a top contender in the citation tool market.

We’re all about debate and discussion at A*Help.
We value the diverse opinions of users, so you may find points of view that you don’t agree with. And that’s cool. However, there are certain things we’re not OK with: attempts to manipulate our data in any way, for example, or the posting of discriminative, offensive, hateful, or disparaging material.
I LOVE Bibguru. I used to be an avid EasyBib user but as time goes on the site gets worse and worse. You used to get almost all features entirely free and now it doesn’t even let you do one citation with about 100 ads or you have to pay. Bibguru is simple, straightforward, and the only site I have found that has decent in-text citations. It also automatically sorts the citations by alphabetical order and inputs a list of citations into the proper format. Of course, there could be ways to improve it but it is my favourite citation website by-far.
