A*Help Score: 49.7/100
published October 24, 2023 - updated December 29, 2023

Quick Overview

Reverso is an online platform mostly associated with translation services but also includes what some consider the best spell checker. However, it provided a grammar-checking tool as well. We tested it and found that it doesn’t deliver much when it comes to mistake correction. Mostly, Reverso only detects and improves grammar and spelling errors leaving other inaccuracies behind. As such, the service only gained a 49.7/100 A*Help score in our rating, staying a bit behind other similar tools.

The Good
  • Variety of extra features
  • An extended selection of languages
  • Has both an app and a browser extension versions
The Bad
  • Low grammar-checking quality
