Dear Egon,
We have worked together for three years. Though this span of time has been fulfilling in regard to my career, I have decided to leave SFTWare, Inc. This letter is to inform you of my decision to leave my position as a programmer. The last day of my employment will be July 5th, 2013.
Working at SFTWare , Inc. has been an invaluable experience for me. I would like to express my gratitude to the people I was working with – to our smart programmers, brave support service team, and the sleepless system administrators.
Thank you, Egon, for your patience. Working with you expedited my professional growth. At SFTWare, Inc. I was fully able to apply and deepen my knowledge of SQL and XML databases, PHP and Java, as well as my knowledge of DirectX and OpenGL graphic libraries. I enjoyed working on anti-virus software as well. However, I feel that I must leave and seek for new horizons to observe.
I ask you to accept this letter of resignation. I promise to perform my duties until my last working day. By this time, I will be able to finish all work on my current projects, and find and prepare a substitute for myself.
