Hello,
I’ve tried several times but I can’t find a convincing opening paragraph for an academic essay titled “learning from mistakes”, can you please help?

In your introductory paragraph, you could bring up statistics, interesting information, a personal story, or anything else to catch the reader’s attention. “Learning from mistakes” is quite a broad idea, though. You might want to narrow it down into something personal, about learning from mistakes through a psychological stance or a social stance.
